There are many aspects to how the repairs to your home will need to be planned out, and the variables are endless.  Initial consideration is always given to removing irreplaceable items from the home as quickly as possible.  Time is of the essence in these situations-water or soot damage from a fire will have extremely different effects on materials in as little as 24 hours.

Do you have an insurance question?

How do I know if I should call my insurance company for damage? Is my claim covered?

If the damage is not severe or costly in nature you may not want to file an insurance claim.  However if the cost will cause an unnecessary burden on your family or business to cover, the answer is rather simple.  If time allows, and additional damage occurring is not a possibility, we encourage our clients to contact us first to come out and take a look at the damage.  Often times the damages are minimal or below the insurance deductible, and it doesn’t make sense to file a claim.  More often than not your claim will be covered if it is from one of the “named perils” that your policy covers.

Isn’t my insurance adjuster out to save the company money by giving me the cheapest estimate possible? Or worse yet-denying my claim?

Most insurance adjusters have an extremely high level of integrity and work very hard at what they do. Insurance companies often times spend more money denying a claim than they do approving one. We work with several adjusters in this area and have found most of them to be honest and upstanding individuals. We’ll work together to ensure that you are properly covered for a price that is fair to both our customer and the insurance company

Why do I want Built Restoration representing me?

Your average insurance adjuster looks at approximately six losses per day after a heavy storm. Often times they are working 12-16 hour days and each loss starts to look the same. Your insurance adjuster is looking for a very specific set of criteria to determine your coverage and estimate amount. We have over 30 years of adjusting experience and we will represent your home as if it was our own.
